The Splendid China exhibition of embroidery art brings together representative works from various regions and ethnic groups across China, showcasing contemporary achievements in the innovation and fusion of embroidery. 

The public exhibition is organized into five sections: “Golden Stitches of the Yellow River”, “Silken Phoenix of the Yangtze River”, “Cotton Blossoms of the Pearl River”, “Northern Radiance at Sunrise” and “Dancing Fish and Dragons of the Southern Seas”. Each section systematically presents the origins and evolution of prominent embroidery styles from different regions and periods, displaying works alongside tools, materials, historical documents and interactive experiences.

The exhibition aims to bring to life the rich history and contemporary vibrancy of Chinese embroidery, showcasing its unique cultural significance, traditions and artistic beauty.
