Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is deeply rooted in the vast expanse of China, bearing the cultural genes of Chinese civilization. It embodies the essence of Chinese culture, encapsulating the wisdom, spiritual ethos, and life philosophy inherent in Chinese civilization while highlighting the pinnacle of human progress.

Like jade adorning mountains and pearls illuminating rivers, TCM's intangible cultural heritage (ICH) projects offer rare glimpses into its enduring history and vivid milestones in its evolution. Within the diverse tapestry of ICH, the fragrance of TCM permeates; within TCM's profound culture, the vitality of ICH flourishes. The inheritance and innovation of TCM, coupled with the preservation of ICH, collectively illustrate the enduring vitality and ever-renewing brilliance of Chinese civilization.

This exhibition is jointly presented by the China ICH Museum and the National TCM Museum. Through the unique perspective of ICH and its distinctive display methodology, we creatively interpret TCM's philosophical roots, operational principles, and technical mastery, unveiling a vibrant panorama of how this ancient wisdom thrives in modern life, revealing TCM's multidimensional value as a crucial key to understanding the essence of Chinese civilization.
