The phrase "wai shi zaohua, zhong de xinyuan" (externally, one learns from nature and universe, while internally, one cultivates the mind to seek truth and beauty), encapsulates the timeless essence of Chinese artistic creation. For centuries, Chinese artists have sought a balance between learning from nature and introspection, transforming objective forms into uniquely evocative artistic images, ultimately achieving a state of unity between self and nature. This is the core theme of the current exhibition, Heart • Realm.

The exhibition features outstanding works by 166 graduate students, spanning various disciplines such as Chinese painting, calligraphy, seal carving, oil painting, sculpture, photography, and design. The works include experiments that use traditional techniques as a foundation, expanded through digital technology, as well as creations that employ AI as a tool, ultimately returning to humanistic concerns. The graduates demonstrate through cross-media exploration that the integration of art and the intelligent era is not a conquest of tradition by technology, but rather the mastery of tools by the spirit — making technology a new mirror reflecting the heart's inspiration from nature, rather than a mere substitute for the heart's original creativity.
