During the Ming and Qing dynasties (1368-1911), Beijing, as the capital region, was home to a remarkable collection of murals and sculptures in temples such as Fahai Temple and Dahui Temple. These works form a unique artistic lineage of murals and sculptures in the capital.

This exhibition, themed "Splendid Murals of the Capital", employs digital recreation technology to creatively transform and contemporarily express these cultural heritages. This allows the precious relics, usually hidden in temple halls and limited by preservation conditions, to be reinterpreted and viewed through digital light and shadow.

Traditional techniques such as gilding, mineral coloring, and the combination of painting and sculpture are given new dimensions of interpretation within a technological context. This immersive experience helps the general public develop cultural awareness of classical art, achieving an extension of value from historical heritage to public aesthetic education.
